Tracy’s guest talks explore the shifting representation of LGBTQ people in the film and television industries. Her lecture, Pandora’s Box to Pose, chronicles nearly 110 years of LGBTQ+ visibility in film and television from illicit glances in early cinema to the intersectional celebration of sexual and gender identities that have proliferated in modern TV.
Her speaking engagements include “UCI Illuminations” at the University of California, Irvine in the Digital Filmmaking program and at Mount Holyoke College for the Department of English and the Film Studies program.
